ELMWOOD — Now heading into his 28th season as the Elmwood/Brimfield football head coach, Todd Hollis is in the business of building up football players.
But more importantly, he’s in the business of building up leaders too. Hollis says that there is plenty of those on the Trojans, who are looking to get back in the playoffs following a 3-6 campaign in 2025.
That leadership has already shown itself in the first practices of the season.
“We had a couple situations where you're supposed to finish across the line and it didn't happen for a guy, and the players disciplined themselves,” Hollis said. “When you're to the point that the coaches are not the ones doing that, that tells you're at least headed in the right direction.
